Risk disclosure
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Crypto futures trading is not suitable for everyone. Make sure you understand the risks below before using TigerTrade bots.
You can lose all your money
With leverage, small price moves can cause large losses. In isolated margin you can lose a position's entire margin; in cross margin, your entire account balance. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Bots don't guarantee profit
Bots apply the rules you set; they cannot know where the market will go. A strategy that did well in the past or in paper mode will not necessarily do well in live trading. Charts and examples on this site are illustrative.
Stops don't always fill at their exact price
During sharp moves, low liquidity or exchange congestion, orders can fill at a different price than set (slippage). The exchange may temporarily reject orders during funding.
Technical risks
Software bugs, internet or server outages, exchange maintenance and API changes can make bots miss signals or behave unexpectedly. Stop and take-profit orders live on the exchange and keep working while our server is down, but the bot cannot open new trades or manage positions.
Fees and funding
Every trade pays an exchange fee and futures positions may incur funding costs. For strategies that trade often, these costs can significantly affect results.
Legal status
Crypto asset rules differ between countries and change over time. It is your responsibility to make sure this trading is legal where you live.
